Recovery radio network is where I heard it
Looking for one of his talks which I think was at a physicians conference in which he speaks of shooting Demerol with his doctors in a parking lot. He goes on to speak about his quitting smoking. He was doing research on adolescent suicide AND met with the Los Angeles county health department who offered him their opinion on smoking (covert suicide)when he was looking for an ash tray in the room they were meeting at. Talks about first time confronting ACOA issues with his therapist. I have Listened to 30 odd tapes but no luck. The talk would have been 1988 or before. Jlgoedike@gmail.com

That was in Murray, Utah in 1978…I was there and no longer have a copy of the tape.
I have been look for the tape from Murry for over 25 years or more. Does anyone have a lead as to where it can be found

I thank GOD for recovery and I thank Bob E for making my recovery holistic and full. I have been sober 30 years, a Bob E tape was one of the fiirst I listened to in a car with an A.A member who had just picked me up on being released from prison driving to a meeting in Birmingham UK. I was hit by his sardonic humour and the fact he’d lost every shootout with the cops. From then on I hunted out every recording of his I could find until I found his workshop on the 12 steps (ACOA) that and dong the work in it led me into REAL recovery!!! Bob along with my HP saved my life as I embarked with their help into real healing. It really helped that Bob E was cross addicted and new what insanity really was and where it originated (IN THE HOME). Like Bob it took me years but I eventually have healed from the abuse done to me by others and myself. THE BLESSINGS OF GOD ON BOB EARLL’S LIFE AND SOUL. i WILL BE FOREVER GRATEFULL THAT HE WAS BORN!! I am also grateful to the other members of A.A N.A and CODA who had the sense to follow BOB’S WORDS OF WISDOM to find and work like me through the real cause of my addictions!! I learnt like BOB to FEEL LIVE AND BE ALIVE!!! THANKS TO BOB I HAVE A GOOD COLLECTION OF TEDDYBEARS. GOD BLESS BOB!!!

Bobs were some of the first speaker tapes I heard when I was new in recovery. They were as responsable as my sponser for getting me sober. Almost 25yrs later I still hear some of the things he said echoing in my head.

thank you i cant spell many words bob earl came into my life in 2007 and saved it at that time i was 25years sober and lost i got a tape of bobs and the rest is histury i am still sober and trying to put the pices togeter i am not high tech no facebook sometimes i feel i am still been left behind but thanks to bobs brand of recovery i will never lefe me behine again so thanks again

Bob passed on, on 1/9/2018 after a long illness.
So sorry to hear he has passed was introduced to one of his tapes in 1983 & i got to hear him speak here( Birmingham, Alabama) and was thrilled to meet him after ,that was about 1985 or so.
So sorry to hear I live in Darwin Australia. Bob E saved me from insanity not only in early sobriety even now with 28 years up.
