Couldn’t hear this too well, sound is so low, worth sticking with it tho. A very frank and honest talk from Valerie. Her journey from coming into AA young, some pitfalls are highlighted. Whom of us want to admit taker/liar/thief and the realities of our behaviour. I get the “stark raving sober” bit! Insanity and depression in sobriety and the dangers of being dry drunk. The importance of being honest in Steps 4 and 5. The importance of remaining “transparent” to our AA friends and peers. I think this talk could be helpful under Relapse maybe? When she drank again she was gone from the rooms for 4 years. Some powerful moments in this talk.
