I have the same voices. I’m trying to inventory them and use Mark H’s 4th step inventory process – in his view, they are all part of the “Theater of the Lie”, and I want to work on not having those messages drive me and my state of being: https://www.recoveryaudio.org/aa-speaker-tapes/mark-h-dallas-tx-2002

Was ready to hear what was said. I am like what he discussed. I know the feeling of stupid, useless and lazy! While being told I’m doing a great job and working hard. Focusing on the negative. Never enough. Great listen!!

Great thoughts! Really helped me gain compassion for my husband as he struggles with this disease.

I didn’t catch that comment, but I will say that two gay buddies of mine who are in my emotional sobriety group didn’t mention it mention it disturbing them.

Not loving his homophobic comment “joke” at the beginning of his talk. Turned me off and I turned him off.
