I really enjoyed hearing your story. I’m going through a tough time and so this was really helpful to hear. Thank you for sharing!
Thank you again Sue! Tagged with Steps 4 & 5, Relapse 🙂
Very clear and uncluttered. Great backdrop life story, being “tightly wound” from an early age. Regardless of upbringing,if we’ve got this illness, it’ll surface. Our lives can be different but our journey is the same. The change of morals and standards to accommodate our drinking. Not being suicidal, just not caring anymore. No filter between brain and mouth! Self-resentment. The importance of a THOROUGH Step 4 & 5, sponsor, meetings and service, forgiveness within the rooms. Relapse/the danger of losing touch with AA. The necessity to truly want sobriety and what AA has to offer.
