I also thought that the talk by Sandy B was very instructive, Showing the chain of events that led to Bill’s own experience in Townes hospital. The links included two other hopeless drunks – Roland H. & Ebby T.- who found a way out through the Spirit then carried to their old high school chum, Bill W.

Enjoy this tape for explaining the connection between past attempts to stay sober and the lessons that A.A. drew from them. Sandy B. is a wonderful speaker, combining humor with a thorough detailed account of the history of the spiritual concepts that are at the core of A.A.’S understanding of alcoholism as principly a spiritual disease.
