I have been a member of AA in Perth, Western Australia for 37 years, from the age of 26 years old, & was sober for 4 years & drank for 5 days & I am 33 years sober now. Jack B. started steps meetings here in Perth & I was a member of that meeting where he guided us lost alkies towards true sobriety. My YouTube commenting name is – steps set me free – & it is because of the carrying of the only message I needed from Jack that I am still alive & trying to carry the message to all addicts of – having had a spiritual(not religious!) awakening, as a result of doing these steps, we tried to carry this message! THANKS JACK & AA!
If you listen real carefully you can hear his heart beat while he tells about his spiritual experience. The microphone must have been near his heart. About 45 morning min in. Added God bonus to an amazing story.
I knew this man – he brought steps meetings to Perth, Western Australia & thru his carrying of the message many of us here are still happily & joyously free & sober!
