Thanks very much Jen, this is more of a journey of discovery than I ever realised :)))
Really helpful for those with co-dependancy issues, and those who didn’t realise they have them! Some good stuff in here for single parents towards the end of the tape. It ends abruptly but I found this very useful and a bit of an eye opener for where I’m at now. Families, boundaries, behaviours, all this is helpful for those moving along with the steps and making changes to become the people we CAN be with the help of AA and groups. An inspiring, informative talk moving on growth and change lines.
Sue, if you put “John B” in the search field you can listen to the rest of the CDs.
I grew up in alcoholism and had been in and out of therapy since I was 15, but it wasn’t until I did a great deal of John Bradshaw’s work with a therapist that I was able to clean up my psyche and live a healthy life. He has several books I found helpful: Homecoming: Reclaiming and Healing Your Inner Child; Healing the Shame that Binds You, and Bradshaw On: The Family. You can also see his talks on youtube.
