James Houck of Frederick MD wasn’t in AA until the mid 90s; he is widely considered by archivists and other careful, sober minds to have been a tricky, self-seeking Fraud.
He WAS definitely in the Oxford Group and Moral ReArmament in the 1930s and for an eternity. But that wasn’t AA.
