I am one of very few Muslims in AA. Allah as expressed through Mohamed, forbade alcohol but not all obey. When I sponsor it is imperative for a sponsee to read the Truth in the Quran. I too despise anyone referring to Allah as a doorknob. There is one True God who is Allah who created all. Being alcoholic does not change Allah to a doorknob or Jesus or the group. Even if Russell is promoting a Biblical god I appreciate that he is not shy about criticizing infidels.
