Outside issues fromantic the get go!!! Where in the BB does Bill address apologizing for being white!!! Remove this tape or at least warn us how PC it is!!!
Thanks for the heads-up t everyone. I have not listened to all tapes on the site, so I haven’t been able to screen them all.
Hi Mary,
I can change tags no problem, and if you think there is a better tag than the ones listed, please do suggest it – that tags list for certain is incomplete and in time will need to be reorganized and made more pertinent.
heck, i don’t even have the tag “service” listed – that one would be kinda pertinent I think – duh!! This creation is very much a work in progress… π
Well, it may be a work in progress but it’s amazing, even without any changes! When I think about how much money I spent buying speaker tapes, particularly when attending conferences & in the first yrs of sobriety. Of course I was single without a family then… Now that I’m “all grown up” with grown up bills, I haven’t been able to buy tapes by so many speakers I’ve longed to hear. Finding this website has been such a blessing. Thank you for your service.
Keep hitting submit before I’m done!
Meant to say I love it when anyone deeply involved with a religion has such a great sense of humor & doesn’t take themself too seriously. I’m not Catholic but it’s priest like this one that I would be most likely to listen too & go to for counsel. Didn’t realize this one had just gotten tagged or would have chosen another. Btw, should we just use tags listed on website? Noticed tags suggested for this one included ones I haven’t seen before?
Really good talk, in my opinion, by Fr. Gavin, with 38 yrs of sobriety at time talk was given. Absolutely love when a priest/minister/anyone ruk
Chapter 5, bigotry, whiteness, ego, categories, spirituality, God, atheism, belief vs faith, defects of character, aa history,
Thanks Gary – the way you list tags separated by comma makes it so much easier for me to drop them into the page – thanks brother!!
