Excellent! I think you may have it tagged as Untreated Alcoholism as well. Been suffering a little of this lately myself… good reminders to stay close to the fellowship and keep working those Steps! :))) Thanks you guys, this site has helped this alcoholic immensely… sending much gratitude your way today… Sue H xxx
“Dry Drunk” is a tag I totally missed adding to the list… Thanks Sue!
Bobby “Crazy” Coil, from Philadelphia Pennsylvania, got sober in his late 20’s, shares his story in a very definite … what it was like, what happened, how it is now order. Progression of the illness of alcoholism, past justification of drinking on feelings. He delivers his story with humour, but drives his message home by sharing some awful consequences experienced as a direct result thereof. Self-confessed “dry drunk” for his first two years of sobriety, talking the talk… not walking the walk, no steps, looking at the differences not the similarities. Very honest, in his own words “I didn’t carry the message, I carried the illness” but he so obviously found his way, and therein lies hope. I found that honesty extremely helpful.
