   Just heard Scott R’s story for the first time on recoveryaudio.com. My new favorite! Bless you Scott! I was referring newcomers to a speaker tape app to help them between meetings – Now I have a new favorite speaker as well!

   I know Sandy B has done the same for me. But, because forgetfulness is a persistent feature of my disease, I have to keep listening to his messages to keep being reminded of some simple things that make for a big dose of insight – and help me get a dose of a daily reprieve 🙂

   This man has singlehandedly fueled most of my positive sobriety experience !!!

   I’d say conservatively he has done nothing short of saved my life , and all of this while he has passed on and is no longer with us !!

     Me too… I heard all his tapes in 2009. I had hoped to hear him in person. And then learned he had passed in 2008. I cried and grieved like I did when my stepdad had died.
     Went to our local Al-Anon event that year with my best friend… and found out his wife Nancy was the featured speaker.
     God is amazing. I got to speak to her.
